There is nothing better than being outside on a beautiful fall day.
Crisp air, beautiful scenery and walking through the leaves. However, this is a common time of year to be affected by fall allergies. Late summer and early fall is when the weeds are out in full force. Ragweed, Yellow Dock, English Plantain to name a few. The pollen on these weeds blows around on windy days and grants its sufferers their dreaded allergy symptoms. Sneezing, itchy eyes and nose, wheezing, shortness of breath and chronic sinus infections can result. Along with the weed pollen are mold spores. Mold spores are found under wet leaves and dying grasses. When we go for a walk through the leaves or rake our yards, we are releasing millions of mold spores into the air. These spores are also being blown around on windy days. If you find yourself suffering with allergy symptoms, please contact us for advice.
