COVID Update

Update on COVID-19 Guidelines

We are monitoring CDC and local health updates on COVID-19 guidelines.

We are mandating that patients with cough, fever, sore throat, respiratory or flu symptoms stay home or choose a Telemedicine visit, unless an urgent ENT matter. Please inform staff if you have been sick or exposed to COVID-positive individuals so we can make the proper arrangements to avoid the spread of infection. In order to limit exposures, we also ask that family members NOT accompany patients into the offices. Adult patients will be seen individually. Pediatric patients may be accompanied by one adult. Please do not bring siblings or other children into the office.

Keeping patients and staff safe

At Lakeside-ENT & Allergy we understand these are challenging and unprecedented coronavirus pandemic times.

We remain committed to providing exceptional care while keeping patients, our staff, and providers safe. While many businesses and venues have eliminated mask requirements, we still REQUIRE MASKING within our offices.  The very nature of an ENT medical practice increases exposure to droplets and secretions from the nose, mouth, and throat which may contain transmissible pathogens. COVID or other infections can still spread from patient to patient, patient to office staff, and office staff to patients. We do allow brief mask removal during physical examinations in exam rooms only.

Lakeside ENT also offers the convenience of Telemedicine for at-risk patients. We encourage all patients to sign up for our online Patient Portal to communicate with our team, review test results, request medication refills, and handle many other functions without phone call or a live appointment.

Thank you for working with us to protect the health and safety of our staff and patients so we can continue to provide the excellent care you expect from Lakeside. We will work through this together!
